Blank Pages of Life

In life there are certain things that we all must face.  The pages must be written by ourselves alone because no one else can tell our stories.  It is kind of like staring at a blank page when you begin an essay or story.  There is nothing more scary than not knowing what is coming next in our lives.  God did not mean for us to walk alone but I believe that is most interesting part of the journey.
A blank page just stares at us screaming out for something to be written on it.  There is nothing like having a problem and not knowing what it is.  If you can imagine with me for a minute.  Take a trip in your mind to a far off place in which you have never been.  Imagine that you are going through a dark tunnel and can not see around you.  The Devil wants to make us think we are alone but there is always light somewhere.
A blank page to a write is sord of like being in a world by yourself not knowing what is going to happen.  You are always in perpetual motion trying to think of the following words to write down.  Somehow the words though, eventually come flowing through and onto paper just like it was never a problem.  It is funny to me how scary a blank page really can be.  Did you ever take a moment and think about your own blank pages?  There is so many stories to tell, but did you forget a page or two because you were not patient enough to wait on God?
Blank pages are not really that scary when you think of all the wonderful topics that could be written down.  Life is so full of surprises, whether good or bad.  Just like a little kid at Christmas time, we are always wanting something more every day that we live.  Of course it is natural as humans to want more but let us take a few minutes to mediate fore a few minutes each day what we could write down on a blank page.  Do we really want more or can we embellish what we have and make it look better?
It is too common to have blank spaces in our daily journals.  My question to you is do we really take time to make our stories more interesting to those who see us on a regular basis? Do we have a blank page just sitting there staring at us?  Blank pages are my friends.  I love to write little stories in order to help people feel better about themselves but sometimes that is not possible.  However it is up to us alone, to make sure all the pages in our book of life are embellished and pretty instead of filled with empty pages of boredom.  So take thought in what I am saying here, let us be willing to share our journey to encourage others. #22q  #beblessed

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Thoughtful Thursday

If God Be For Us 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; 34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?[e] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from...
