Five Verses on Guilt 1 Psalm 40:11-12 11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. 12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. 2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 3 Isaiah 54:4 - Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 4 Psalm 103:11-11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 5 Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there

Psalm 119King James Version (KJV) 119 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. 5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. 7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. 8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. Sometimes we feel like God has left us but in truth, He will always be there for us. When are friends" turn their heads and act like we aren't there, God sees that. He takes everything in to account. He counts our tears and always hears our prayers. Our prayers don't have to be something beautifully written down on a piece of paper. He hears us even if we can't find the word

Wonderful Wednesday

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing   Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life” (Matt 6:25-27) according to Webster.com anxiety is : (2) medical :an abnormal and overwhelming sense of apprehension and fear often marked by physical signs (such as tension, sweating, and increased pulse rate), by doubt concerning the reality and nature of the threat, and by self-doubt about one's capacity to cope with it It is so easy to let stress build up to a level that we can't contain. The world keeps pulling you to get in different directions which will lead up to an awful thing called anxiety. Anxiety is an awful enemy and the Dev

John 4 King James Version (KJV) Therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, 2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) 3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee,

Proverbs 3:13-18 13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. 16Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. 17Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. It's hard to realize sometimes that wisdom is better than fine gold. Wisdom is better than rubies. Nothing should be compared to the beauty wisdom has to behold. Even though getting a college education is wonderful, that's not the kind of wisdom we're talking about here. God's wisdom will keep you from evil. God's wisdom will keep you from getting your heart broken, God's wisdom will keep you o

Psalm46 1-5 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. Prayer--Lord, though the mountains be carried into the Sea, help me not be afraid. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Psalm 25:1-4 Prayer - Lord, help me not to be ashamed to share the Gospel with those who need to hear it. Please keep my enemies far from me and help me always be aware. In Jesus Name, Amen.<\p>

Wonderful Wednesday

It's been a while since I posted any pictures or media files so, I thought I share something neat I really never feel any older just that more grateful to be alive. On saying that, I try to be as frugal as possible, and purchase things we actually use as that's what I was taught as a kid. My husband and I have been cooking more at home lately so I have been looking for neat little gadgets to have around in the kitchen. I like to make things as simple as possible and I also like to be able to clean the gadgets as well as put the away easily. This grilling mat is a neat way to save space in your kitchen. It is a wonderful thing to have and I don't know how I lived without it. We like to bake and also use the grill. This is washable and easy to put away when you don't have much space. It is flexible and you can roll it up or store it flat. Either way, this is a great item to have! This is another item that I wish my husband and I had had when we first got

Psalm 121King James Version (KJV) 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. King James Version (KJV) Public Domain Prayer- Lord, help me to always look upwards to you before I make any decisions on my own. I can't do anything on my own, I always need strength and guidance. I know that you will preserve me from all evil and my foot steps from going astray. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Road Not Taken   Robert Frost (1874–1963)          TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;         Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,           And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.         I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Page Title Medication means different things to different people. To me, meditation means clearing your mind of stressful things like work, things that annoy you, and things that you just can't stand. I found some meditation aps I think you might enjoy.... "http://www.headspace.com/"> http://www.sattva.life/apps"> "http://www.calm.com/"> I have this one on my phone and love it ! I will review these on my youtube channel along with this blog. First and foremost thought, living a stress free life is up to us. No one else can make us happy. No one else can get rid of things that annoy us. God can give us ideas and steer us in the right directions, but only we can live stress free. In saying that hope everyone has a wonderful, stress free, weekend. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Page Title Calm   By Charles Baudelaire (public domain) Have patience, O my sorrow, and be still.     You asked for night:it falls:it is here.     A shadowy atmosphere enshrouds the hill,     to some men bringing peace,to others care.     While the vile human multitude     goes to earn remorse, in servile pleasure’s play,     under the lash of joy, the torturer, who     is pitiless, Sadness, come, far away:     Give me your hand. See, where the lost years     lean from the balcony in their outdated gear,     where regret, smiling, surges from the watery deeps.     Underneath some archway, the dying light     sleeps, and, like a long shroud trailing from the East,     listen, dear one, listen to the soft onset of night.

Psalm 142 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication. 2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. 4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. 5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. 6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me

“To make this as simple as possible, let me say it this way: justification is all about Jesus. Jesus’ work, not our works, saves us. Jesus’ life, not our own life, is our hope. Jesus’ death, not our religious works, is our payment. Jesus alone forgives sin. So, we’re to repent of our sin to Jesus. Jesus alone gives righteousness. So we trust in Jesus for our justification. Our justification is not accomplished in any part by our own work, morality, or religious devotion. Justification is accomplished by Jesus plus nothing, and Jesus plus anything ruins everything.”   Mark Driscoll “Sometimes we’re so focused on our desired blessings that we fail to stop and thank God by remembering the blessings we already have in Christ .” Mark Driscoll    Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 Prayer-- Lord, help me realize that the World did not accept

Psalm 98 King James Version (KJV) 9 8  O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. 2  The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. 3  He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 4  Make a joyful noise unto the Lord , all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 5  Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. 6  With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord , the King. 7  Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 8  Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together 9  Before the Lord ; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity Pr

Terriffic Tuesday

When I search the news this morning, I think about how many things that disaster relief has brought to help the hurricane victims.  I also think about how many things have been donated over the years that simply end up going to waster. They have to let it go out to sea or destroy it some way because the items can't be used.  I mean, high heels and prom dresses are nice in their place.  There are many nice prom dresses and I, for one, sure don't need another pair of shoes.    I mean if you were going to a rodeo would you wear cowgirl boots or high heels?  Nowadays you can get away with wearing boots to church, but that makes sense though. It gets cold in the winter months where we live.  I, myself wear boots sometimes in the cold months.  But that's not the point here.  We need to Identify our self in Christ so that we may find what gifts we can bring.  Each one of us has a different purpose and a different gift that God gave us.    You might have the gift of music, the

Motivational Monday

Since we have been talking about Finding your Identity in Christ, I think of emotions as well and how being satisfied with your lot in life helps you achieve goals. How one feels greatly depends on their surroundings. It really does! This morning I woke up with the word aroma on my mind.  It reminded me how different smells make you feel.  Some smells make you happy, some smells make you sad, some smells make even flat out make you angry.  That's one reason my Keurig is sitting beside my writing chair. The coffee smells help me wake up because it gives me something to look forward to every morning.  If I put the littler box beside my writing chair, it probably wouldn't motivate me very well.  That's the way it is with our Heavenly Father.  Finding our Identity in Christ, will help us determine how to serve God better.  God really doesn't need us because He is the Almighty God, but when we accomplish our goals and give him honor it's like a sweet savor in his nostri

Fantastic Friday

I have always studied people's attitude and how they adapted to life.  As I get older, I also notice how easy it is for some people to feed off others emotions.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with being empathic.  We need more Christians to be loving.  However, Setting Up Walls and setting up boundaries are two different things.      As Christians,  " Christ Followers,"  or people in general....we need to learn what is toxic to us.  We need to learn how to be loving without actually becoming like that person.  Does that make sense?  We need to learn how to control our emotions.  We need to Identify our own emotions before we can help someone else.  If we end up in the same emotional downslide that the other person is, we are not going to be very much help.      It is so very easy to play off other people's emotions.  I catch myself doing it.  After I realize it though,  I group everything back to home base.  People actually watch us so we need to be careful ho
