Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n

Romans 14 (KJV) 14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and w

1.Psalm 16:11 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy ; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. 2.Psalm 119:35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight . 3.Proverbs 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 4. Psalm 18:36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip. Psalm 119:5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Ah! It's here! The weekend? What have we done this week that would glorify God? What have we not done to shine our lights? What could we do more of next week to bless another person? Have you asked God to show you someone to give a Blessing to? Do you watch people or do we have our mind always on ourselves? It's important that we realize the difference between selfishness and being happy. Being angry does not help our situation. If you want to torment the Devil, we need to praise God for every situation. S

Thoughtful Thursday

Isaiah 40(KJV) 40 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. 2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins. 3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. 6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: 7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God s

Wonderful Wednesday

God had quite a bit of the Scripture written in order to comfort us on our Journeys. This one in particular comes to mind when writing sentiments for my cards. I am really just an amateur so I like to read instructional material. This is one verse that was suggested for comfort. As I read through the leaflet it mentions three things you should not write when sending cards. 1. This sickness is God's will for you. " That's kind of obvious. You should never" tell anyone that their trial was meant" for them. I can understand this. Having certain health issues myself, it could be taken wrongly. 2.Here's why I" think you're sick." I sure do know quite a bit of people who like to give you their two cents on why" you are sick. Maybe something it's youre doing wrong." Maybe it's something you're eating." I can't believe that someone would actually write that " in a card, but... that was number 2 on th

Matthew 13-3-9 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Pray with us-- Lord, help me to sow on a good ground. Help me to be able to test to see whether it is good and holy or not. I want to be where my light can shine the brightest. In Jesus Sweet Name, Amen.

Eclesiastes 7: 13-16 Hope you have had a Wonderful Thanksgiving!! 13 Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? 14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. 15 All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. 16 Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ? There is alot of wisdom in this particular passage. God warns us not to be mighty in our own eyes because this is vanity. in verse 13, it says , " Who can make that straight?" Have you given that much thought in considering something new? A new goal or new plan? Did you ever ask God what He thought? After all, He knows the outcome. I take time to pray every mor
