Three Simple New Years Resolutions

Sometimes all some people can do is produce negativity. There is nothing worse than someone who refuses to have a positive outlook on life. That's what my blog is centered around, trying to avoid those negative people and start surrounding yourself with people who have the same goals as you do.  Finding friends that have the same goals and same values as you do is very important.  No one deserves to be alone and no one deserves to be put down all the time.  God put us on Earth to be happy and that is what we need to achieve.
The Devil will always try to put obstacles in our way. In the end, however, He knows that God has already won the battle. If the Devil didn't try to defeat me, I'd be worried because then He would have won. I find that reading my Bible daily and praying to God is the most comforting thing that a person could do. As much as possible, we need to keep our minds always attentive to the Lord and away from worldly attractions,  God understood that no one is perfect and made a way for us to be forgiven.  There is no way we can be sinless, but we should try every way possible to walk as closely as we can to the Lord.
So my New Years Resolution this year is to read my Bible all the way through.  That is only one resolution that I have made.  The second exercise is to maintain a better exercise schedule and to drink more water.  The third resolution is to be more diligent in my coupons and savings. I want to try to get my lotion making business going more steadily and try to stay away from fast food restaurants. That's not to say I won't eat at them, but to be more wise about the food I pick. I encourage you to pick three New Years Resolutions that you need to do anyway and try to do everything you can to stick to them!   #happynewyear#beblessed

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Terrific Thursday

Titus 3 (KJV) 3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Sometimes I wonder if people even read my blog posts. Then other times I think, what does it matter? This is something God wants me to do so it should not matter. We shouldn't strive to please people. My husband and I went out to eat yesterday and I heard the song that goes something like this," I learned my lesson well. You can't please ever...
