Wonderful Wednesday

Psalm 35(KJV)

35 Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. 2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. 3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. 4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. 6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. 7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

This Scripture came to mind last night. I was thinking of something to write and the words Plead my cause," came to mind. This Scripture and a prayer for strength. A prayer for help and a shield against the enemy. Sometimes we forget that the battle wasn't ours to begin with, it's God's. He's already won.

This week I saw a challenge to pray for your enemy. Pray that God will take control. Pray for forgiveness over that person. I think that's a great idea. So, I challenge you to pray for someone you can't get along with or have odds against. This will help you in your daily struggles.

The Bible says that you are not going to be friends with everyone. In fact, there is a place that says for you to just walk away when you see that you can do nothing to help mend this friendship. Isn't it wonderful that God makes provisions for us?

1. What does the writer ask the Lord to do?

2. What does he ask the Lord to have chase after his enemies?

3. Why did those people cause the writer to fall in a pit?

Prayer--Lord, please make a hedge about me. Keep me from people who just can't stand me and help me to realize the difference. Please fight the enemy for me as David asked in this Psalm. Thank you for everything Lord, for in my weakness, I am made strong. In Jesus Sweet Name, Amen.

Food For Thought

A journaling topic that Kim Erickson suggests is as following, " Write some things that happened this week that got in the way of your having a joyful day."   Well,  honestly, I could sit down forever and talk about this topic.  It's these kind of affirmations that have really gotten me through the day.  I wish I had known about them when I was younger.  Middle School and High school might have been a little easier.  However, I never really had any bullies attack me then.  At that time, the only real bully was my inner-self.  I stayed positive and always tried to keep my mind on God and things that do not concern this world.  Happy places, quiet places, and dreaming about far off worlds usually kept my mind busy.   That is how it is today as well, but sometimes, having a reminder every now and then doesn't hurt.   Not everyone is going to be your friend, and not every one is going to send positive vibes.  Sometimes you have to do it yourself, you have to wake up thi

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

for Thursday

s   I have been reviewing products for a while now.  I usually try to pick items that I actually want to use on a day to day basis.  Excitingly, this is one of the recent items I earned in exchange for an honest", unbiased", opinion.  My opinion is that it is "awesome!"     I will use this bag every time I go to the gym to workout.  Of course, my definition of "working out," is not the same as everyone else's definition yet, but I am stepping  higher each time.  Having fancy gym attire is not required, but definitely very, very helpful.    I am sure that people will eventually get tired of hearing about this bag, I am proud to own it.  I would have paid the full amount for this bag.  It has many, many pockets and a place for your water bottle as well.  It not only can be used as a gym bag, but as a travel bag also.  I love the length of the shoulder strap.  The best part about the shoulder strap is the padding they added for extra support.    Thi
