Thoughtful Thinking Thursday

Did you ever see a cat chase a laser.   I play with my kitties all the time.  They like a laser because it moves around.  They do not know where  or why but they chase it for the sheer fact that it moves.  It' is kind of humerous but they don't know any better.  I love my cats because they know where the light is coming from and it is up to me to guide them.  Sometimes, I find myself in that kind of shape, needing a guiding light.   It is tough to stay focused on the goal, but if Jesus holds our hand every day, we will not loose sight of the ultimate goal.

5 ways to keep focused

1.   Pray every morning.  Whether it is with your spouse, friend, or by yourself, make a point to talk to God every day.   He will not know your needs if you do not ask.

2.  Make a list the night before.  Making a list the night before will help your tasks for the next day bemore realistic.

3.  Stay around friends who motivate you to accomplish your goals.   By keep these positive friends around, it will help you have a better attitude.  Nobody like a Debbie downer.

4.  Compliment your friends.  Always remember to encourage the ones around you.  Don't always shove your beliefs down their throats.  Sending compliment makes you feel good.  Be that shinning light.

5..  Keep memories in a journal or scrapbook.  By keeping memories in a scrapbook, it allows you to see what you have accomplished towards the big goal.  It will also give a clear picture on what you need to meet as well.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Motivational Monday

There were a few things that were motivational to me today.  First, finding out that my dog really does love me.  He has been barking exvessively for the past two weeks.  He was trying to tell me that there was a sick dog in the neighborhood and that I should be ware.  Gotta love your animals, right?     What else was motivational?  Getting a little eight week old hyper active kitty to actually sit on my lap for an hour and a half.  I loved today!  I was in such  a good mood and nothing got in my way.  They say animals know when their masters do not feel well.  Today is a testimony to that thought.  I Taught My Cat To Clean My Room I taught my cat to clean my room, to use a bucket, brush and broom, to dust my clock and picture frames, and pick up all my toys and games. He puts my pants and shirts away, and makes my bed, and I would say it seems to me it's only fair he puts away my underwear....
