Friday--Free Your Mind

It is finally Friday again.  The Weekend is the time that people tend to free their minds of clutter.  It is a time for  family and relaxation.  Everyone needs to clear their minds every their minds  once in a while.  Everyone needs their eight hours of sleep, a time just for themselves.  A time to escape from their day to day routines.  The Bible says in Genesis that even God rested on the seventh day.  It is true that  our bodies need rest and a time by ourselves. We often times find things to worry about if we do not take a " time out" one in a while.
God knew that before we existed and made provisions so we need to take advantage of it. However, that does not mean to push our oxens in the ditch. Sometimes we make excuses not to be a servant.  Granted it is difficult at times, but then again, anything we do takes some effort on our part.  God knew that as well. He knew that there would be things that we could not accomplish on our own and that is why He created prayer. Communication is the key word to most of our problems. If  we just ask God for advice the answer will be provided.  It might not be how we want the question answered, but He will never leave us alone.
Then, on the other hand, sometimes it is simply up to us to put " legs" on those prayers and move toward the goal in which we were concerned.  Sometimes God expects us to be listening and observant of the situation before He takes control.  Sometimes it is just as simple as asking someone, a person, for help.  It might not be what we want to do, but if that is what God provided then that is our answer.  I think sometimes people complicate prayer making it into something bigger than it is.
God said  He would always be there but He made it so that we would have to ask Him.  I am always amazed when God answers a prayer exactly when I pray.  However there are other times that God says wait, not right now.  He knows His plans for us and that is what we have to realize before we even start our daily routines.  Prayer and time alone with God is an escape for me.  I need an escape time, a time to  reflect on the positive aspects of life.
No one needs to spend their life in a constant state of fear and worry.  It will eventually wear your body down.  Worry warts have no fun in life but then again, it is good to worry sometimes.  To live a happy life, one must put their own worries on a schedule because there is a time for every season.  We are human and there are things that bother us from day to day. We need to take time to reflect on the good things of life, get your eight hours of sleep, your peaceful time alone to rest.  In saying that, remember, that our bodies are  temple for the Holy Spirit so we need to take care of ourselves in the best way possible.     #sleep#22q#beblessed

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Motivational Monday

There were a few things that were motivational to me today.  First, finding out that my dog really does love me.  He has been barking exvessively for the past two weeks.  He was trying to tell me that there was a sick dog in the neighborhood and that I should be ware.  Gotta love your animals, right?     What else was motivational?  Getting a little eight week old hyper active kitty to actually sit on my lap for an hour and a half.  I loved today!  I was in such  a good mood and nothing got in my way.  They say animals know when their masters do not feel well.  Today is a testimony to that thought.  I Taught My Cat To Clean My Room I taught my cat to clean my room, to use a bucket, brush and broom, to dust my clock and picture frames, and pick up all my toys and games. He puts my pants and shirts away, and makes my bed, and I would say it seems to me it's only fair he puts away my underwear....
