Patience, Strength, and Hope!

Yay! I have a new kitten! She is so cute and soft. However, she is biting and scratching my hands all up at the moment.  Someone abandoned her little family. They were really not old enough to be taken away from their momma, but we had been looking for a kitten and God sent us this one. She reminds me of how the Devil can be though, He comes as a cute little kitten but can be a vicious as an angry lion.
There is nothing worse than fresh scratches on your skin. A kitten can look cute, but their claws can hurt badly. I still love her and will keep her fed, watered, and entertained, but her claws hurt! We need to be careful in reality just the same, cause something can look cute as a kitten but really be the Devil in disguise. Most people have Satan pictured as a red animal with horns and a pitchfork, but the truth is, that He is everything we ever wanted.
Every dream, every lustful wish, every boastful thought was put there by Satan to make you want to come over to his side. However, He knows He has already lost, otherwise, there would be no temptations or wishful thinking.  Satan wants to try everything in His strength to get us to fall back but God will always be there no matter what happens.
There will always be trials but God always shows up right on time.  God knows how much we can handle and will always lend us a ray of sunshine when we need it the most.  So we need to patient and keep praying for strength and guidance so that we will not be tempted by the Devil's Dreams.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Fantastic Friday

“To make this as simple as possible, let me say it this way: justification is all about Jesus. Jesus’ work, not our works, saves us. Jesus’ life, not our own life, is our hope. Jesus’ death, not our religious works, is our payment. Jesus alone forgives sin. So, we’re to repent of our sin to Jesus. Jesus alone gives righteousness. So we trust in Jesus for our justification. Our justification is not accomplished in any part by our own work, morality, or religious devotion. Justification is accomplished by Jesus plus nothing, and Jesus plus anything ruins everything.”   Mark Driscoll “Sometimes we’re so focused on our desired blessings that we fail to stop and thank God by remembering the blessings we already have in Christ .” Mark Driscoll    Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 Prayer-- Lord, help me realize that the World d...

Motivational Monday

There were a few things that were motivational to me today.  First, finding out that my dog really does love me.  He has been barking exvessively for the past two weeks.  He was trying to tell me that there was a sick dog in the neighborhood and that I should be ware.  Gotta love your animals, right?     What else was motivational?  Getting a little eight week old hyper active kitty to actually sit on my lap for an hour and a half.  I loved today!  I was in such  a good mood and nothing got in my way.  They say animals know when their masters do not feel well.  Today is a testimony to that thought.  I Taught My Cat To Clean My Room I taught my cat to clean my room, to use a bucket, brush and broom, to dust my clock and picture frames, and pick up all my toys and games. He puts my pants and shirts away, and makes my bed, and I would say it seems to me it's only fair he puts away my underwear....
