Psalm 42[a][b]
For the director of music. A maskil[c] of the Sons of Korah.
1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? 3 My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” 4 These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One[d] with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng.
Prayer- Lord, help me always use your Bible for a road map. As the old song says, "It's ten commandments tell me what do." The most tough, help me love my neighbor as myself. In Jesus' sweet Name, Amen. #HappyTuesday#BeBlessed

I love this Psalms. It is one of my favorites. It's one of those that you can go to when you feel like there's no one else there to listen to your own problems. It helps to talk about out, but sometimes people just don't want to or have time to listen. Job says in verse one, " as the deer pants for the streams of water," . I don't know if you have ever seen an animal pant when they are out of breath, but the first thing they run to is food or water. If only we could be like that with God's Word. After all, it does provide nourishment for our souls.
