Fantastic Friday

This week has been mostly on standing through trials alone. We aren't really alone...God has always been here and He always will. His Spirit goes with us each and every day. When you feel like you don't have a friend in the world to talk to, take it to Jesus. He will Listen. God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for our sins. Not only did He send us His Son, His only begotten" Son....whom He loved very much. That alone should give us strength to keep going. When worldly friends fail, when church friends seem to be nowhere around, when family fails...Jesus is your friend. He wants to keep you safe and will always be there. Standing on His Word is what gives us our Identity in Christ, making decisions when it seems like we are the only one doing right. When friends tell us we are too uptight and need to be more worldy in order to fit in....Take it to Jesus. God knows what we can handle.

I found this poem that kind of sums up this week's topic: A Balanced Life

My life has been balanced with pleasures and trials, I've had many teardrops and thousands of smiles.

I've soared to the moon and I've plunged to the sand, My life has been balanced by God's loving hand.

I've had many friendships I've had a few foes, In the life of a Christian that's the way that it goes.

Should I just accept only good from God's hands? No, I must endure whatever He plans.

But I can be sure and you can be, too, All things work for best as God deals with you.

Lord, help me to remember, no matter what happens, that You are working everything for my good. In Jesus' Sweet Name, Amen.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Review Time!

I love getting products like these in exchange for an honest review!!! I just got a new iphone6s and these cords work perfectly.  As you see, I received three lightning cables in the mail to charge my iPhone 6s. I am going to leave one in my car and one near my wall charger. I am going to give the other cable to my mom as she has an iPhone 6 Plus.  These cables are great and worth the money because there are not just one but three cords included in the package. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U0Q0IP6

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Keeping a Positive Outlook

There is nothing more depressing than a person who is always negative. It seems so hard to contain a positive outlook on life. Writing is a way for me to relax and reflect on Gods many mercies and wonderful things that He has in store for my future. I try to stay away from Negative Nancy" as they say and surround myself with people who have the same interests as I do.   If at all possible, I would like to encourage others along the way as well. Everyone has their hurdles to jump, no matter how tall they might seem.  Until you have walked in someone else's shoes, do not judge them.    Someone else's battles may seem small to someone from a far distance when in reality the certain difficulty might be a lot strenuous than it seems. That person just may know how to smile through their tears better than just rolling in them all day long.  I know some people that do not look handicap at all because the handicap is not visible to the naked eye but they need...
