Motivational Monday

14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” John 10:14-17

I love this Scripture. It talks about how a shepherd watches over his sheep. It tells how a good" shepherd will not leave any of the sheep behind, he will always wait, even for the least one because he is part of the flock as well. The Good Shepherd this Scripture is referring to though, is Jesus. Its meaning is simple. He will not leave any one of us out in the cold, no matter how great or small we may be. You know, we like to compare gifts, but Jesus loves and appreciate one and everything we can bring in His favor.

Prayer-- Lord, help me not to compare myself to others. It is easy to do, but help me remember, that You have a special purpose for my life just as well as theirs. You numbered the hairs on my head so like the good shepherd, You will not leave me behind. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Review Time!

I love getting products like these in exchange for an honest review!!! I just got a new iphone6s and these cords work perfectly.  As you see, I received three lightning cables in the mail to charge my iPhone 6s. I am going to leave one in my car and one near my wall charger. I am going to give the other cable to my mom as she has an iPhone 6 Plus.  These cables are great and worth the money because there are not just one but three cords included in the package. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U0Q0IP6

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Keeping a Positive Outlook

There is nothing more depressing than a person who is always negative. It seems so hard to contain a positive outlook on life. Writing is a way for me to relax and reflect on Gods many mercies and wonderful things that He has in store for my future. I try to stay away from Negative Nancy" as they say and surround myself with people who have the same interests as I do.   If at all possible, I would like to encourage others along the way as well. Everyone has their hurdles to jump, no matter how tall they might seem.  Until you have walked in someone else's shoes, do not judge them.    Someone else's battles may seem small to someone from a far distance when in reality the certain difficulty might be a lot strenuous than it seems. That person just may know how to smile through their tears better than just rolling in them all day long.  I know some people that do not look handicap at all because the handicap is not visible to the naked eye but they need...
