Five Verses on Guilt
1 Psalm 40:11-12
11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. 12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
3 Isaiah 54:4 - Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
4 Psalm 103:11-11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
5 Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Prayer-- Lord, please help me not to hold on to guilt and be ready to ask forgiveness at any moment. I know that You will always be there for me no matter if anyone else is or not. Help me find my Identity in You and let me not stray from it. In Jesus' Name, Amen. #HappyWeekend#BeBlessed
