Terriffic Tuesday

When I search the news this morning, I think about how many things that disaster relief has brought to help the hurricane victims.  I also think about how many things have been donated over the years that simply end up going to waster. They have to let it go out to sea or destroy it some way because the items can't be used.  I mean, high heels and prom dresses are nice in their place.  There are many nice prom dresses and I, for one, sure don't need another pair of shoes.
I mean if you were going to a rodeo would you wear cowgirl boots or high heels?  Nowadays you can get away with wearing boots to church, but that makes sense though. It gets cold in the winter months where we live.  I, myself wear boots sometimes in the cold months.  But that's not the point here.  We need to Identify our self in Christ so that we may find what gifts we can bring.  Each one of us has a different purpose and a different gift that God gave us.
You might have the gift of music, the gift of prayer, the gift of encouragement.  The Bible tells us that all these gifts are needed to build the body of Christ.  No gift is lesser than the other and we shouldn't compare ourselves to other Christians, " Christ Followers."  We are made differently, it doesn't mean that one is better than the other.  It just means God made each one of us to serve a different cause.  We don't know the answer to that, but God can see way ahead of us.  We need to learn to trust and follow HIM.
Just because it looks like a friend is better off, that's no reason to get mad and upset.  I know it's easy to compare, I am guilty.  Then I think of what I mentioned earlier,  I am not capable of living another person's life.  For some, this world, is all the Heaven they will see.  Perhaps it's not the best way to think, but, it helps me press along.  I know that God made me for a certain purpose and He gave me gifts that only I can handle.  I need to cultivate my gifts and learn to use them for His Glory.

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.  Ephesians 4:16

Prayer-- Lord, help me not be jealous of other peoples Spiritual gifts.  It's not up to me to decide what you give me in life.  It's up to me to educate myself and edify the church. I hope and pray it brings You Glory.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Review Time!

I love getting products like these in exchange for an honest review!!! I just got a new iphone6s and these cords work perfectly.  As you see, I received three lightning cables in the mail to charge my iPhone 6s. I am going to leave one in my car and one near my wall charger. I am going to give the other cable to my mom as she has an iPhone 6 Plus.  These cables are great and worth the money because there are not just one but three cords included in the package. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U0Q0IP6

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Keeping a Positive Outlook

There is nothing more depressing than a person who is always negative. It seems so hard to contain a positive outlook on life. Writing is a way for me to relax and reflect on Gods many mercies and wonderful things that He has in store for my future. I try to stay away from Negative Nancy" as they say and surround myself with people who have the same interests as I do.   If at all possible, I would like to encourage others along the way as well. Everyone has their hurdles to jump, no matter how tall they might seem.  Until you have walked in someone else's shoes, do not judge them.    Someone else's battles may seem small to someone from a far distance when in reality the certain difficulty might be a lot strenuous than it seems. That person just may know how to smile through their tears better than just rolling in them all day long.  I know some people that do not look handicap at all because the handicap is not visible to the naked eye but they need...
