Fantastic Friday

I have always studied people's attitude and how they adapted to life.  As I get older, I also notice how easy it is for some people to feed off others emotions.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with being empathic.  We need more Christians to be loving.  However, Setting Up Walls and setting up boundaries are two different things.
As Christians,  " Christ Followers,"  or people in general....we need to learn what is toxic to us.  We need to learn how to be loving without actually becoming like that person.  Does that make sense?  We need to learn how to control our emotions.  We need to Identify our own emotions before we can help someone else.  If we end up in the same emotional downslide that the other person is, we are not going to be very much help.
It is so very easy to play off other people's emotions.  I catch myself doing it.  After I realize it though,  I group everything back to home base.  People actually watch us so we need to be careful how we treat each other.  We need to be careful how we treat God's church, last but not least, we need to be careful how we treat ourselves.

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
                                                                 Proverbs 15: 13

Prayer--  Lord, help me to control my emotions.  Help me to treat others the way You would have me treat them.  Help me to shine my light as far as It can go.  In Jesus Name, Amen

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Thoughtful Thursday

If God Be For Us 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; 34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?[e] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from...
