Tuesday Memory Tricks

One of the most common tricks that people use, I think, are graphs.  Graphs help one categorize
thoughts in a way that you can remember them.  When I think of graphs, I mean actually writing down words to help memorize better.  Sometimes I like to turn a piece of paper sideways and make three columns.  I then will try to summarize the basic subject of what I am trying to memorize. l It is more difficult to study like this but the end results come out better for me.
Each person has their own way of memorizing and learning.  These are just a few that have helped me along the way.  Another technique is to read the words out loud so that your brain can be more focused on one subject than many at a time.  I get distracted more easily than some so I have tried many things to help manage my study habits.  Even though it is easy to become disheartened  I am not ashamed in the least.
If anything, having 22q has made me much stronger than I would have without the syndrome. Throughout the long process, I have had more time to think of ways to help myself and others. I want to stay strong and fight the battle.  Everyone has their own struggles, this just happens to be mine.  I am not handicapped or disabled.  However, it is marching to the beat of my own drum  that has lead me where I am today.
Like mentioned before,  it gets difficult at times, but categorizing my thoughts as I study has really helped me retain more information.  There are so much more techniques, but using a planner, setting a goal, and developing some form of overview of the lesson or subject has really helped me most.  There are others and I would like to talk about as many as possible in order to help someone else succeed.
Many struggle in different ways but it is up to you to be a light in the darkness.  It much easier to help someone than to knock them down.  I choose to be a help and to pass along what I have learned.
I do not want to keep hidden under a rock just because I learn a little differently.  However, being neat, getting to the point and keeping things categorize helps anyone's life flow a little easier.

Review Time!

I love getting products like these in exchange for an honest review!!! I just got a new iphone6s and these cords work perfectly.  As you see, I received three lightning cables in the mail to charge my iPhone 6s. I am going to leave one in my car and one near my wall charger. I am going to give the other cable to my mom as she has an iPhone 6 Plus.  These cables are great and worth the money because there are not just one but three cords included in the package. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U0Q0IP6

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Keeping a Positive Outlook

There is nothing more depressing than a person who is always negative. It seems so hard to contain a positive outlook on life. Writing is a way for me to relax and reflect on Gods many mercies and wonderful things that He has in store for my future. I try to stay away from Negative Nancy" as they say and surround myself with people who have the same interests as I do.   If at all possible, I would like to encourage others along the way as well. Everyone has their hurdles to jump, no matter how tall they might seem.  Until you have walked in someone else's shoes, do not judge them.    Someone else's battles may seem small to someone from a far distance when in reality the certain difficulty might be a lot strenuous than it seems. That person just may know how to smile through their tears better than just rolling in them all day long.  I know some people that do not look handicap at all because the handicap is not visible to the naked eye but they need...
