Eclesiastes 7: 13-16

Hope you have had a Wonderful Thanksgiving!!

13 Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? 14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. 15 All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. 16 Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ?

There is alot of wisdom in this particular passage. God warns us not to be mighty in our own eyes because this is vanity. in verse 13, it says , " Who can make that straight?" Have you given that much thought in considering something new? A new goal or new plan? Did you ever ask God what He thought? After all, He knows the outcome. I take time to pray every morning. Well, I'll just say, I can tell a difference in the outcome when I do pray about the day.

I try to go to sleep in a good mood and I try to wake up in a good mood. That makes a difference in your health. 14. says , " in the day of prosperity be joyful." God wants us to rejoice over what we have. He knows we have emotions and He wants us to be happy. He gives us what we need, but also wants us to ask for what we want.

16. On the flip side, God says in 16, that we should be proud of our works but not too boastful because we will only destroy our own selves. If you go around thinking you are better, than that will destroy the good name that you have made for yourself. So consider that much when you go through your day.

God wants us to achieve our goals, but try to think of others as we reach them. Nobody likes a know it all." but nobody likes a negative Nancy either. So be respectful and consider the two. This will help you in your daily life.

Pray with us-- Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for being a Friend when no one else seem to care. You have always been there and always will be there. You have given me the strength I have needed to fight through my health problems and will continue to do so, If I only ask. Thank you for friends and family and Thank You for helping me be able to appreciate the simple things in life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Thoughtful Thursday

If God Be For Us 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; 34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?[e] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from...
