Motivational Monday

In my book, there is nothing worse than having someone tell you you can't sing well enough, or you can't play piano well enough to be on our team....  What does God say about that though?  He says to study and shew thyself worthy." Right?  He says make a Joyful" noise.  I am so thankful that it does not say, "perfect noise."

There are some people though, that think they are crème de' la crème....the cream of the crop.  My mission is to break that cycle of thinking within the Christian body anyways.  It seems like church people can be the worst to criticize each others talents.  I have never been able to understand that.  Don't get me wrong, I love going to church and being with my Christian family, otherwise I would not blog about it.

I am thankful that He gave me a chance and has mercy, that's who I sing and play for.. to praise God.  I try to just close my eyes and pretend no one else is there.  It shouldn't be an American Idol contest when you are performing for God.  I have said that many times.  The Scripture that I would like to point out today Psalm 98, where is says,

" Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth; make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."

Especially when we come together in worship, let's remember to try to be more mindful of each other as we praise God.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Terrific Tuesday

The Priority Principal Priority according to dictionary.com  means  the right to take precedence in obtaining certain supplies, services, facilities, etc., especially during a shortage. In life, we all must set priorities.  Not only must we set priorities, we must decide which priorities" will help us succeed.  Making lists help me tackle tasks but they also help me visualize my priorities. “A morning-glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books.” ― Walt Whitman Establish a base point and determine what your strengths and weaknesses are.  Don't compare to others,  God gave us each a special" light to shine....we need to shine it. Once picking the top priorites,  keep your focus on those priorites and the others will fall in place. Age doesn't matter here, but, according to Nature, we each get older every day, so learning to set priorites when we are young will make a difference on ...
