Tuesday Memory Tricks

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was sick all weekend. I am back to normal and feel like writing again! I have a hard time finding keys or remembering where I parked.  I figured out if I just make a point to look back and check to see exactly where I parked, it makes it easier for me to remember.  I also try to park beside a light pole or buggy cart.  This technique also helps me remember, especially if there is another vehicle that is just exactly like mine and it is possible. lol! For finding my keys, I usually try to put them in the same place and make that place a consistent place to put them. It is so easy to get distracted and remembering where you put things is difficult sometimes.  If you are like me, you would loose your head if it was not attached.  I am a fairly organized person but remembering something small like your keys is a doozy. I also have a difficult time with locking myself out of my car. Hey. I am sure that I am not the only one that has had to call a tow truck.
A crafting project that I have been working on lately is labeling things.  Putting my items in certain bins and keeping them there.  I hate to be stressed especially when it only concerns finding a simple stamp for a card or a certain color of yarn for my crochet projects.  I am working on organizing my office drawers so that each item will have its own little place.  This project is not difficult, what is difficult is keeping" that item in its certain little place.  This time I am going to make a point to keep my items in their own little home so I can help my day flow easier.  There is nothing like searching for your glasses when they're setting on your face, but I am sure It has happened to more than one person.  It's kinda of like when the old garmin can't find where you need to go.  A GPS has to have the proper instructions to get you to the right destination.
One last thing that I am working on concerning organization is a coupon binder.  At first, I tried to organize my coupons like they do on the show, "Extreme Coupons," but I found it a bit difficult and frustrating to carry that huge binder around with me everywhere.  I have found some shortcuts that work better for me.  Just because a certain celebrity says its the best way for them, does not mean you have to do it exactly like that.  Find a way that  is better for you , but stick to it, don't keep changing or you will  end up back in the same boat.  I guess the moral of this story is to keep things in the same place and make a point to keep the item in its happy home.  That is my memory Technique for today. #22qblessed#happyTuesday

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

How do you decide the difference between your wants and needs?"

There are some things that need to be considered when praying.  Prayer is a very important, special time in our lives and should be taken seriously.  When we pray we should be mindful of things that we want and things that we really need.  It is hard to tell the difference sometimes and we should try to separate the two. Things that we need are things like a place to live, clothes to wear, and food to eat.  We need shoes to wear, transportation, and communication.  We do not need the fanciest things in life or the bottom of the line.  We should take into consideration that there are some kids that do not even have those basic necessities.  What I am saying is that we should not be stubborn and always ask for the best but ask God what He wants us to have and be happy with that.      Webster describes wants as this. " to desire or wish for something.  When we desire more than what we need, we should be careful...

Terrific Thursday

Titus 3 (KJV) 3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Sometimes I wonder if people even read my blog posts. Then other times I think, what does it matter? This is something God wants me to do so it should not matter. We shouldn't strive to please people. My husband and I went out to eat yesterday and I heard the song that goes something like this," I learned my lesson well. You can't please ever...
