Shop till ya drop

Lately I have been going to drugstores to shop for household items and have been saving some money to put toward other bills. I am so excited! I will never pay retail price for those items again. I am talking about laundry detergent, toilet paper, toothbrushes and cleaning supplies. I feel silly shopping at drug stores for those kind of items, but I don't feel silly when I see what the final total is.
There is nothing that excites me more than to help save a few dollars.
I don't know of anyone right now who couldn't afford to save some money on their bills, especially at Christmas time! Christmas time is difficult for more people than you might realize. It depresses some and that shouldn't be,but it's so true.  When you find items really cheap on your next shoppping trip, try to think of a person who could really use those products. It might be an older person or a younger person in college that doesn't have much money to spend.  You would be surprised at how little gestures like that could brighten someone's day.
This year instead of giving to a child over seas, I decided to donate some clothes to a lady in the nursing home.  I found just what she had listed at a store that was going out of business. Actually, I was able to give a little bit more than what she had asked for because the items were found at a discounted price. I wish I could have delivered the clothes but it was through a local organization. However you can donate the items yourself as well. All you have to do is go to your local nursing home and ask who doesn't have much this year and they will tell you.I just saw this lady's name on a tree and thought that was a neat idea.  So this Christmas, try to donate to someone local, instead of helping someone in another country. #happySunday#beblessed

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

The Priority Principal Priority according to dictionary.com  means  the right to take precedence in obtaining certain supplies, services, facilities, etc., especially during a shortage. In life, we all must set priorities.  Not only must we set priorities, we must decide which priorities" will help us succeed.  Making lists help me tackle tasks but they also help me visualize my priorities. “A morning-glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books.” ― Walt Whitman Establish a base point and determine what your strengths and weaknesses are.  Don't compare to others,  God gave us each a special" light to shine....we need to shine it. Once picking the top priorites,  keep your focus on those priorites and the others will fall in place. Age doesn't matter here, but, according to Nature, we each get older every day, so learning to set priorites when we are young will make a difference on ...
