Shop till ya drop

Lately I have been going to drugstores to shop for household items and have been saving some money to put toward other bills. I am so excited! I will never pay retail price for those items again. I am talking about laundry detergent, toilet paper, toothbrushes and cleaning supplies. I feel silly shopping at drug stores for those kind of items, but I don't feel silly when I see what the final total is.
There is nothing that excites me more than to help save a few dollars.
I don't know of anyone right now who couldn't afford to save some money on their bills, especially at Christmas time! Christmas time is difficult for more people than you might realize. It depresses some and that shouldn't be,but it's so true.  When you find items really cheap on your next shoppping trip, try to think of a person who could really use those products. It might be an older person or a younger person in college that doesn't have much money to spend.  You would be surprised at how little gestures like that could brighten someone's day.
This year instead of giving to a child over seas, I decided to donate some clothes to a lady in the nursing home.  I found just what she had listed at a store that was going out of business. Actually, I was able to give a little bit more than what she had asked for because the items were found at a discounted price. I wish I could have delivered the clothes but it was through a local organization. However you can donate the items yourself as well. All you have to do is go to your local nursing home and ask who doesn't have much this year and they will tell you.I just saw this lady's name on a tree and thought that was a neat idea.  So this Christmas, try to donate to someone local, instead of helping someone in another country. #happySunday#beblessed

Review Time!

I love getting products like these in exchange for an honest review!!! I just got a new iphone6s and these cords work perfectly.  As you see, I received three lightning cables in the mail to charge my iPhone 6s. I am going to leave one in my car and one near my wall charger. I am going to give the other cable to my mom as she has an iPhone 6 Plus.  These cables are great and worth the money because there are not just one but three cords included in the package. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U0Q0IP6

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!

Terrific Tuesday

I try to do these blog posts in as much real time as possible. Sometimes it may not be possible. I am trying to figure out a good way to schedule my posts on a weekly basis because bloggers scheduled posts won't ccooperate. If you know of any good ones, let me know! Psalm 38King James Version (KJV) 38 O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. 2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore. 3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. 4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. 5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. 6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. 7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. 8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. A se...
