coupon journey

I have started a journey with coupons. I am always amused at the faces I get when people see all the coupons in my hand. I have reached "Extreme Coupon" status yet, but slowly getting things for free or "on the cheap." There is nothing that could please me more than to get my groceries for pennies like some people do. I have learned that you can stack store coupons with Sunday paper coupons and get paid to take the item off the shelf.
It isn't easy and it's very time consuming. I like to share my deals and "free" deals with my friends and family.  I have even started doing the surveys on the back of restaurant receipts and receiving free food! I love to save money. I wouldn't say that I am a tightwad, I just like to be frugal. If you can save a little money to put up for something else, it's a win win situation.
I don't buy things that I don't need, just like to get the things I do need at a bargain price! There's nothing wrong with that. I know what people think when they see my coupons, but who cares. Really, they should be wanting to save money as well instead of picking on me. #beblessed#phillipians4:13

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

How do you decide the difference between your wants and needs?"

There are some things that need to be considered when praying.  Prayer is a very important, special time in our lives and should be taken seriously.  When we pray we should be mindful of things that we want and things that we really need.  It is hard to tell the difference sometimes and we should try to separate the two. Things that we need are things like a place to live, clothes to wear, and food to eat.  We need shoes to wear, transportation, and communication.  We do not need the fanciest things in life or the bottom of the line.  We should take into consideration that there are some kids that do not even have those basic necessities.  What I am saying is that we should not be stubborn and always ask for the best but ask God what He wants us to have and be happy with that.      Webster describes wants as this. " to desire or wish for something.  When we desire more than what we need, we should be careful...

Terrific Thursday

Titus 3 (KJV) 3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Sometimes I wonder if people even read my blog posts. Then other times I think, what does it matter? This is something God wants me to do so it should not matter. We shouldn't strive to please people. My husband and I went out to eat yesterday and I heard the song that goes something like this," I learned my lesson well. You can't please ever...
