raindrops keep fallin on my head"

Lately it seems like raindrops keep falling on my head. Deep down inside I know that God has a special plan for eveyone, including me, I just haven't found mine yet.  For some reason, writing about problems help me to vent a little bit and the stress goes away for a little while.  Who knows, maybe that is God's plan for me to help someone through my writing skills. If that is the case I pray that He will open many doors for me in the future.
Every dream I seem to look forward is to far to reach and they shatter into pieces. Knowing that God will always be there, helps me not to give up on life. As I stated in an earlier blog post, God is my strength my help in time of need. I go to Him and the pain seems to go away for a season. It is then a special Scripture is brought to mind, I Corinthians 10:12, " this too shall pass. " That Scripture always bring a certain peace to my heart.
Too much stress is not good for anyone, especially when health problems are present anyway.  However, that's not to say we should play all day either. Everyone needs to find their happy medium, how far they can be mentally pushed to the limit. Once you find that limit, set boundries and let no one cross them.  Finding this boundry line will help eliminate stress the most. Last thing that helps me is to exercise physically. Yoga is a nice exercise routine that combines mental and physical exercises designed specifically to reduce stress. Whatever routine or plan you choose stick with it! God said He would take care of us, but in His Word, it also says we must take care of ourselves to our fullest potential. When we do these things and give our whole selves to God we will feel much better. #beblessed

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Fantastic Friday

“To make this as simple as possible, let me say it this way: justification is all about Jesus. Jesus’ work, not our works, saves us. Jesus’ life, not our own life, is our hope. Jesus’ death, not our religious works, is our payment. Jesus alone forgives sin. So, we’re to repent of our sin to Jesus. Jesus alone gives righteousness. So we trust in Jesus for our justification. Our justification is not accomplished in any part by our own work, morality, or religious devotion. Justification is accomplished by Jesus plus nothing, and Jesus plus anything ruins everything.”   Mark Driscoll “Sometimes we’re so focused on our desired blessings that we fail to stop and thank God by remembering the blessings we already have in Christ .” Mark Driscoll    Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 Prayer-- Lord, help me realize that the World d...

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!
