God wants you to keep smiling !

God said in His Word that He would never, ever put on us anything we could not handle.  However, problems seem like they overwhelm us sometimes.  It does not matter what we think about the situation, God knows what will make us stronger and He also knows our make up because after all, He is the very One who created each and every one of us.  He designed a certain plan for His children if we will listen and obey His Word our lives will be so much better.  We make it harder on ourselves by trying to do what we want in life.  If we will take time to listen to the voice of God, life will not be a bed of roses, but we will be able to think much more positively on our daily tasks.
Many people have a retirement plan that comes along with whatever job they might have. which is a good idea if you can find that with your workplace.  Needless to say, with or without a retirement plan here on Earth, Christians have a far better place in Heaven, the best "Retirement Plan," ever! It may not be within reach at the current event, but we can always have that viewpoint in mind no matter what the situation may be.  God loves each and every one of us and wants us to have the best out of everything we set our minds to do. If we keep that thought in mind, our walk as Christians will be much happier.
Being positive is important to our health and God knows that. He said in His word that He will always make a way out of something we can not handle. He will be there to carry our crosses for us.  After all, Jesus is the one who carried the real cross up Calvary's Hill one day. He could see that we would not have the strength to make the way alone. God does not keep His love from us, we separate ourselves from Him and for that we should be thankful.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Fantastic Friday

“To make this as simple as possible, let me say it this way: justification is all about Jesus. Jesus’ work, not our works, saves us. Jesus’ life, not our own life, is our hope. Jesus’ death, not our religious works, is our payment. Jesus alone forgives sin. So, we’re to repent of our sin to Jesus. Jesus alone gives righteousness. So we trust in Jesus for our justification. Our justification is not accomplished in any part by our own work, morality, or religious devotion. Justification is accomplished by Jesus plus nothing, and Jesus plus anything ruins everything.”   Mark Driscoll “Sometimes we’re so focused on our desired blessings that we fail to stop and thank God by remembering the blessings we already have in Christ .” Mark Driscoll    Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 Prayer-- Lord, help me realize that the World d...

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!
