Ah! It's here! The weekend? What have we done this week that would glorify God? What have we not done to shine our lights? What could we do more of next week to bless another person? Have you asked God to show you someone to give a Blessing to? Do you watch people or do we have our mind always on ourselves? It's important that we realize the difference between selfishness and being happy. Being angry does not help our situation. If you want to torment the Devil, we need to praise God for every situation. So for next week, I challenge you to find someone" to be a Blessing to.

Pray with us-- Lord, I pray that you will give me someone to be a Blessing to this week. Help me to see the good in every situation. Help me not be offended so easily. Help me press past anger and help me be a Blessing everywhere I go. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Fantastic Friday

“To make this as simple as possible, let me say it this way: justification is all about Jesus. Jesus’ work, not our works, saves us. Jesus’ life, not our own life, is our hope. Jesus’ death, not our religious works, is our payment. Jesus alone forgives sin. So, we’re to repent of our sin to Jesus. Jesus alone gives righteousness. So we trust in Jesus for our justification. Our justification is not accomplished in any part by our own work, morality, or religious devotion. Justification is accomplished by Jesus plus nothing, and Jesus plus anything ruins everything.”   Mark Driscoll “Sometimes we’re so focused on our desired blessings that we fail to stop and thank God by remembering the blessings we already have in Christ .” Mark Driscoll    Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 Prayer-- Lord, help me realize that the World d...

Ten Ways I Stay Motivated

1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!
