      Motivational Monday

What are things that you do to help meet your weekly goals?  Your daily goals?  Just one goal?  It is so easy for temptation to get in the way and entice us to loose site of our dreams.  Everyone of us has a certain purpose or reason for being on this Earth.  The devil's goal is to lead us into a deep depression and eventually into a deep, dark, hole.  If we notice, God even feeds the little birds.

For the past couple of weeks, I have had a birds nest in one of my flower pots.  I noticed how they did not do a thing any of the days while living on our front porch.   It amazed me how the momma bird always made sure they had adequate enough food to get them through the time period in which they needed help.  Once the babies realized they could fly,  their mother was no longer needed because they could fend for themselves.  However, she did her job well.  She built a big enough nest for the four eggs that were delivered into the world.  She made sure that they were incubated well enough to hatch and she watched over them until they were ready to defend themselves.

Each living thing has a purpose on this Earth.  I needed a happy thought and God provided it through the family of birds.   Even the youngest little bird had a purpose.  In seeing this picture that God painted, it reminded me that we should always be patient in waiting on God's timing.   The little birds did not care about a thing except eating the little worms, hand delivered by momma, and, of course,  sleeping. Then one day,  they developed enough strength to fly away and take care of themselves.

We have to always remember that God will be ready and waiting to catch us if we fall.  It is up to us to develop enough strength to fly off and do what God has commanded each of us to do.  It won't always be easy but if we take care and nourish ourselves and our dreams,  God will help us achieve them. Sometimes it is easier said than done, but God has a purpose for our goals, our dreams, and our failures.  Just Remember, He can and will be glorified in everything. Never give up on hope your hopes and dreams.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Thoughtful Thursday

If God Be For Us 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; 34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?[e] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from...
