Friends are the Best As you know, there are a ton of crafts that I really enjoy doing in spare time. (lol) spare time..... One thing that I really have found a joy for is crocheting.  A Facebook friend of mine told me that she enjoyed making little dresses and hats, etc. for girls over seas.  I think I might start doing that as well.  I also hope to find some local orginizations to send my little crafts to instead of just throwing them in the trash. I might be crocheting, sewing or anything craft related on my Friday blog posts ! :) John 15:12-15 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. S. O. A. P Bible Study Method I found this study method on Pinterest.   I like it lots. The reason I like this method is because it kind of gives you a backbone or an outline.  There is nothing worse than being A bit brainscattered while studying the Bible. Here is my take on the verse ,  Psalm 18 :30 S.  ( Scripture ).   As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried:  he is a Buckler to all those that trust him. " O. ( Objective ). To me the thing that stand out the most is the word, " buckler." 1.  Start the day with prayer or meditation. 2. Brew a good cup of coffee. 3.  Go over my list of goals. 4.  Set new goals ones the old ones are accomplished. 5.  Listen to motivational podcasts or youtube videos. 6.  Read biographies of people who have survived cancer or some amazing trauma.  This helps to remind me that no problem is too big for God. 7.  I try to look in the mirror and say affirmations every morning.  Some of these affirmations are the same ones and some are different.  8. Try to keep a good, constant routine. 9.  Write or draw in my journal. 10.  Reward myself for accomplishments.  After all, you deserve it. Hope you have a wonderful week !!  

A journaling topic that Kim Erickson suggests is as following, " Write some things that happened this week that got in the way of your having a joyful day."   Well,  honestly, I could sit down forever and talk about this topic.  It's these kind of affirmations that have really gotten me through the day.  I wish I had known about them when I was younger.  Middle School and High school might have been a little easier.  However, I never really had any bullies attack me then.  At that time, the only real bully was my inner-self.  I stayed positive and always tried to keep my mind on God and things that do not concern this world.  Happy places, quiet places, and dreaming about far off worlds usually kept my mind busy.   That is how it is today as well, but sometimes, having a reminder every now and then doesn't hurt.   Not everyone is going to be your friend, and not every one is going to send positive vibes.  Sometimes you have t...
