Acid Refux and Apple Cider Vinegar

As you get older, certain health problems become more noticeable.  Things like bones hurting more often, you get tired more easy, and for me, acid reflux.  Now, I am no doctor, bur like anyone else, I've had my share of problems.  Home remedies sometimes work better than over the counter medicines.  Apple Cider Vinegar is one item that I have found to have more than one purpose.  One can use Apple Cider Vinegar for household cleaning, but it also is  a good health aid as well. Apple Cider Vinegar is said to help aid the digestive system in many ways.
Most people that I have seen like to use a product called "Bragg," Apple Cider Vinegar. They say to make sure it is raw and unfiltered. Be careful when drinking Apple Cider Vinegar, though, it is very bitter, and very, very strong.  I can not drink it by itself.  I like to add honey and lemon to my Apple Cider Vinegar.  Some people have told me they like to add grape juice.  I also have tried mixing grapefruit juice in with my Apple Cider Vinegar since Grapefruit is also another good healthy food item to add to your every day diet.
I know that this is no " new" information, but I just wanted to "brag" on an item that is easily accessible and good for you as well.  This item has helped my acid reflux and I actually have been able to sleep a little better too! So, the next time you are at the grocery store or Wal-Mart, be sure to pick up a bottle of raw, unfiltered, Apple Cider Vinegar to add not only to your cleaning purposes, but to your diet as well.

Terrific Tuesday

2 Peter 1King James Version (KJV) 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall n...

Thoughtful Thursday

If God Be For Us 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; 34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?[e] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from...
